Wonderful as always!

We had a terrific stay. Room was large and beds comfortable. Really appreciated the range of gluten free options at breakfast. The room was let down however by the broken tap on the sink in the en suite - was awkward to use and just took the overall experience down from excellent to good.

The only fault I had was the heat in the room was very warm. I know Nov/Dec time of year the weather is cold then mild so hard to regulate. That's the only fault I had.

A Phenomenal spot. Well appointed, modern rooms, and close enough for a stroll down to the beach where there are cafes, pubs and shops. Such a lovely little village only 10 minutes from Sligo town.

Overall excellent accommodation and staff were very friendly and helpful. Quality of facilities was high and views spectacular. I will definitely return and would highly recommend the Strandhill Lodge

Really enjoyed our stay. We were really impressed with value for money, loved the Nespresso machines as I am a massive fan and miss when I travel(no joke).Loved the reading room.Breakfast was fantastic, what a range of cereals.Bedrooms very large and plenty of towels and toiletries.Would highly recommend and hope to return soon again.

I deducted 1. The outdoor furniture was rusted and dangerous. If it was not being replaced it would have been safer to remove it.

David welcomed us upon arrival. He was very friendly & knowledgable about the area. Gave us great suggestions on nice drives/sites in the area and restaurants for lunch/dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Strandhill!

Spectacular views

Room was clean. The ocean view was excellent.

We loved this hotel! This was our first trip to Ireland and I know that Strandhill will be a place we revisit and this hotel will be booked again. The views were perfect, the food suggestions at check in were great, it was quiet, and I loved that there was a fan in the room.

We had a fantastic stay in Strandhill Lodge. The staff were lovely and the room was fabulous. Breakfast consisted of a great selection of fruit and pastries. Great location too.

Once again, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Strandhill Lodge and Suites. This was our third stay here and this time we had 2 children in our party. The staff made us very welcome and were happy to rearrange the beds to accommodate us. As usual, everything was immaculate, good breakfast, quiet rooms. The children loved it, as did we! Can't wait to return.

As always, Strandhill Lodge and suites was superb. Looking forward to my next break already.

Couldn't fault a thing with this hotel. Everything was perfect and our toddler was catered for with a travel cot, high chair and nappy disposal system. There was so much choice on offer at the continental breakfast, it was lovely. Nice big room with sea views. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

PROs: We had a very nice stay in your hotel. The room was appropriate, having a DVD player was very nice, the staff was very friendly, special wishes were fulfilled and breakfast was good. We will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family! (minor) CONs: Some other (inconsiderate?) guests made a real mess underneath the tables in the breakfast room and the staff didn't clean it up directly. This is something you could improve. Some DVDs were in a bad condition (scratches or completely unable to play [--> Finding Nemo]) and although I told the staff about it they were put back into the shelf. You could replace them or throw away the completely broken ones. Trying to playback a broken DVD is very frustrating. :-(

Very warm welcome. Shown to our room (a rare event in most big hotels these days), and information on local places to eat/things to see and do, was given. Excellent continental breakfast, the description on the web site of breakfast does not do it justice.

Excellent time in Strandhill Lodge. Very enjoyable and facilities were excellent!

The hotel has a stunning view on the strandhill beach and golf course. Rooms are large and clean with all the necessary comfort and more (bose sound system for music sounds great!). The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was also ok with gluten free option available but with a bit more fresh products would have been perfect!

Enjoyed our overnight stay, sorry we could not stay longer. Everything was great including the sunshine streaming in to the room and later watching the sunset from the balcony.

Really enjoyable stay at the Strandhill Lodge. The weather did not allow us to appreciate the sunset but the outlook from the balcony gave an indication of what it must be like on a good day. Hospitality first class and restaurants in Strandhill good. Very good Chinese at the Jade Garden. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

The Strandhill Lodge & Suites was wonderful! They were so accommodating and our room was spacious and just perfect for our family. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Sligo.

Perfect! Everyone was going out of their way to make my stay the absolutely most comfortable on my whole trip. I didn't even want to leave the room to go out and explore.

Location was ideal, Sligo and Rosses Point close by. Lovely boutique hotel with view of the bay. Nice place to get away.

Fantastic hotel with stunning views and excellent customer service!

Second visit. Lovely room with balcony. Everything fine for our needs. Didn't get to enjoy the lounge and tea/coffee, as we were working on the Sligo Rally all day ! One suggestion: we found the duvet too warm. Would you consider lightweight duvet in summer ?

We really enjoyed our stay with you. The rooms were clean, very modern, and the windows with the view with incredible. Loved the personal touches with the cookies, coffee and tea. Also, the free breakfast was far more than we expected. Also, Rebecca, was very informative and gave us great advice on what to do. We also appreciated the recommendation of dining at the restaurant next door. Didn't look like much, but once you walk through the pub, it was a great restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Loved your place and wish we could come back soon to Ireland.

Could not speak highly enough of the staff and their helpfulness in making my stay a truely wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and we both loved it. It has everything that we could have asked for. Beautiful views from our balcony. Room was spacious with mini fridge, nespresso machine etc. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was much more than we expected. A really good find and a fantastic restaurant/bar with music in the evenings right next door. We will be back.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms are fantastic, free bottles of water, coffee machine, lovely and warm. My sisters had balcony rooms, they could just picture it on a summer eve, sitting with a glass of wine, watching the sun set. The staff very helpful and friendly. Class place

Great service and location.

As usual we experienced the same high standards we have become accustomed to receiving with each visit. We stayed in The Knocknarae Suite on this visit..lovely spacious accommodation which comprised of a bedroom en suite and a kitchen-dining -sitting area. Continental breakfast is quite sufficient with foods to suit all tastes. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really impressed Saw good reviews on tripadviser but do not rely on their reviews ! We were down for rugby match if we are down for rugby again will certainly stay & bring a crowd !
